Meet "Rev", Revelation Song, my new horse! I bought him yesterday. He backs up, gives you his feet, stands for everything, tolerates everything and is just so sweet! He is a dream. 7 year old sorrel gelding!

Last Saturday I got to photograph Bethany and Russell's wedding at the Baker Building here in Lubbock. It was such a fun wedding! Bethany had her dress made by the fabulous Sarah Brown and it was just stunning!

1. BRIDES! I don't have many of your contracts/wedding plans/questionnaires! I need these asap! Email me if you need another copy to fill out. I need these to know where your wedding is!

 

2. Cart users- I am about to migrate to my old server due to the tremendous website issues I've been having. If your galleries are down today, they will be reloaded to the old server by tomorrow morning. This should be the last of the "Website down" woes I've been having.

 

3. EVERYONE! I'm leaving for Atlanta tomorrow to teach the Love Affair Workshop! Yay! Can't wait to see all 58 of you there! It will be so much fun. I will be trying to return as many emails as possible while I'm there.

07/26/09--21:37: ATL! with my best buds (chan 2171359)

So we have been here hanging out in Atlanta just waiting for the Love Affair workshop and today we decided to all go shopping. Well, I thought about this awesome girl's hair that I saw at Shout yesterday and it made me mention to the girls that I should get a faux-hauk like hers. Kelly said, DO IT! So I went into the salon thinking I would just get highlights and that would solve my hair change delima. Well then I called Josh and Magen and they both said to do whatever! So... my colorist flipped the coin for me and I cut off about 20 inches! Josh has been wanting me to grow out my hair for 4 years now, until this year when he thought it would be cute short again. So here I am, before and after. I have a huge panel of copper (a little too orangey for me) on one side and it's about an inch long in the back. Wowzas it's different. I like it though!

 

We have been eating like kings while we have been here. Atlanta has so many amazing places, I just need to get home and start boot camp as soon as possible! We have eaten at The Flying Bisquit, FLIP, 2 Urban Licks, Shout. They were all super amazing and I recommend them to all the girls coming to Love Affair!

I know I sound like a broken record, but any emails sent to info@laurenclarkphotography.com are getting a permenant error and aren't getting to me. I'm in Atlanta calling all three of my website companies trying to get everything FINALLY switched back to the good server for life, but no one is helping me.

 

In the meanwhile, please send emails to me at laurenleephotography@hotmail.com and I apologize for this mess. I sure wish we didn't have to deal with it all.

Maybe when I get back it will all be taken care of for good.




08/03/09--19:03: Home again. (chan 2171359)

Another picture of my haircut. It is soooo easy to fix! I sleep on it and it gets poofier! It's amazing. Well I am going to start working on a top secret project that will be so amazing (I hope!). More hints to come as I get it started. All I can say now is that if you are a beginner in photography you will LOVE it!

So we drove home today from Colleyville where we photographed an amazing wedding at a Tuscan venue, and all I can say is, I'm GLAD to be home again. It's been 9 days since I've seen my family, dogs and my horse. I've already worked for a few hours, organized my huge mess of stuff that we bought from IKEA and spent 3 hours with my horse. Thank you LORD for all of my fun animals. I just love animals. I'm kind of rambling on now. I think it's because I haven't posted a new entry in a bazillion years. Back to sessions and weddings this week though! More to come.

Love Affair was I N C R E D I B L E. Thank you to every lady who came and every sponsor who donated to make it so awesome. Sadly I hardly took any pictures all week. I'll have to rip some from blogs to show everyone.

I'm about to change a lot of things with my client experience around here and I hope you like them:)

 

Also: a new blog and website are in the works. YAY!
